Priority Weeds Bus Tour

Next date: Friday, 04 July 2025 | 09:00 AM to 01:30 PM

Join us at the Landcare and Sustainable Living Centre, Booragul, for a free workshop with LMCC’s Biosecurity Officer, Bradley Shultz. Learn how to identify and manage priority and environmental weeds, understand the legal and strategic frameworks that guide weed control, and discover which species are top priorities in the Hunter region. You’ll also gain practical tips on what to do if these weeds are found on your site.

After the presentation, jump on a guided bus tour to visit local bushland sites where you’ll see weed examples in the field. The day wraps up with lunch at Reid’s Reserve, giving you time to connect with fellow Landcare volunteers and share insights.
